Are gerbiils supposed to get through they're round up mate?

my gerbil killed and ate her sister. is it normal, what should i do with her?
no it's not normal.
were they from different litters?
was the pen too small?

females are much more aggressive than males, and WILL fight more easily. This is probably what happened, and it be probably a territorial issue.
Are you sure she killed her sister?
Rodents by nature are terribly clean animals, perhaps her sister died of natural cause and the one that ate her was trying too get rid off the body so it doesn't contaminate her domestic.
This is very normal animal behavor.
I would watch her for a couple weeks too label sure she is not ill, then try too find her some contemporary friends.
no i think the were have a fight about the tertiary and she won and ate her zoz bout the lose
I dont think that is normal.
Depends what the pen mate is.
If its a hamster then yes because they are not a good combonation.
But if they are both gerbils after it is not normal.
Answers:    U mm I own owned 15 gerbils and that's the first time I ever heard of a gerbil killing another. They were females, so females are channel more aggressive than males, I have a combination of both, I'm after separating all my girls cause of recent fight. I have 10 left. but they still don't fight. The problem be , they wanted space and the one who got killed be in her way. and she put an end to her ( poor little article ): ) But they are very very territorial best to keep any you may hold together now APART only if a barney breaks out , separate them immediately. but if they're getting along, leave them together it'd be a sin to rip a companion absent from another.
