Baby dwarf hamsters squeaking?
my hamster has given birth to 7 dwarf hamsters, there around 7 days old, but they other squeak and it worries me, i make sure i look everyday to see if at hand ok, and they look fine, so why do they squeak?
they'll be fine mine squeaks most of the time so i wouldn't worry... Hope this helps.
As long as the Momma comes to get her squeaking pup, it should be fine. They squeak when the stumble out of the nest and then the mom will bring the pup back..when the mom leaves the nest the pups will squeak for her, they requirement her warmth and milk. As long as they are not constantly squeaking, there should be times when they are all content..no worries. Good luck
Answers: It's very normal for hamster pups to squeak or make small sounds. It is their path of communicating to their mother they want to be fed. They are also letting their mother know where they are if they are not contained by the nest. It's perfectly normal and nothing to verbs about.
Try not to disturb the nest or the mother too much until they are three weeks of age. You should not change the cage any for three weeks. At four weeks they should be sexed and separated.
Make sure you separate the babies from their parents because their parents could eat their babies.
If the hamsters are still squeaking they could be stressed.
Good Luck.
The speaking is a inherent reaction for any baby like human baby's cry, it is them calling out to their mom for food do not verbs there is nothing wrong. You should get some professional direction as well.
Don't keep checking on them it will disturb them and their mom.
good luck within raising them.

Hamsters normally squeak when they are aggrivated or worried. Don't worry this is a common sign my hamster went through this when she be younger and now that shes older she doesnt do it at all anymore.
