Baby hamster fell, paralyzed. ?

Our one month old baby hamster fell after we got him out of the hold with his brother (who fought with him a bit in a playful way) He fell onto the table and next jumped from the table to the floor and pancaked. He was moving his head a bit and his paw but breathing heavily, slightly paralyzed. He then died a couple of minutes later. Any reason why this happen? I'm so heartbroken that I just want to know why so it doesn't happen again. His snout was also bleeding a bit. I normally tend to be careful but it be an accident, but other hamsters have fallen and enjoy been fine.
Probally broke a bone poor entry,
A fall from such a height probably cause internal bleeding(either in the brain, or abdomen). While other hamsters may be fine, it all depends on the fall, and how and what they hit.
Answers:    Hamsters are tiny animals and can easily get injured contained by a fall. It sounds like he suffered a serious head injury that cause his death. Next time make sure in attendance is no way your hamsters can fall when they are out, as even a fall that may be short to us can glibly kill something so small.
I have no clue, I did have a hamster before but it get lose and I think my cat ate it. Im sorry bout this though!
