Buying a Hamster!! :D?
I have had this AMAZING Fancy Dwarf Hamster (Name: CHESTNUT) for almost 2 years...
but on the 14th of oct he passed absent.I was very sad and depressed.
But immediately I am getting a new hamster on the 6th of Nov 08!
I am most likely getting a robo.do you know any other kind that does not bite?
Thanks surrounded by ADVANCE!!
and please leave a note to say whether you feel sad for Chestnut.
oh no NOT CHESTNUT o gawd he will be missed
thers no type that doesnt bite, purely pick a good one
I know a bit of something like robos. They are definitely best kept in at least pairs. They do not bite but they are thoroughly fast very jumpy and outstandingly scared. They cannot be handled well, they are nearly impossible to pick up and handle. I have heard this from robo owners themselves. If you want to find out more you could link the dwarf hamster group on yahoo.
Poor chestnut, a syrian can be friendly too, easily tamed normally. And they won't bite once they are break unless they scare them.
Oh that is sad Chestnut passed absent, I'm sorry to hear that, I would be sad too If my little hammy passed away too.
Chinese Dwarf hamsters are good, a tip for them not to bite is whether they do blow on them, they will stop.
Robo's are cute too! They don't bite much either.
Answers: if you thinking for your hamster carefully and tame it well after it will never bite. All my syrian hamsters have been from breeders and none have them hold bitten. I think it depends how well you look after your hamster and where you acquire it from as to whether it bites. I would pick any type of hamster and look after it well and im sure it wont bite. My favorites are syrians as they are the easiest to hold,
good luck near your robo, and im sorry about chestnut :( my hamster passed away on the 5.10.2008 and she was a brilliant little hamster :) I miss her lots but I own a new hamster now and shes lots of fun too
i hope this helps
Aww im so sorry for chesnut.
My hamster died on sept. 17, it was so sad, i know how you surface.
Theres not hamsters that dont bite, but robos dont bite AS MUCH.
But good lucck !! :)
Sorry for Chestnut, but at least it was colloquial and not sickness right?
Well Syrian hamsters are slower, bigger, and their bites aren't as painful as dwarf hamsters. But they're more expensive.
I'm getting a robo too! They're really sweet and adorable.
I'm so sorry about Chestnut. That's horrible! If you don't mind me asking, how did he die?
The only type of hamsters that do not bite a lot is the larger Syriana hamsters. I recommend a Fancy or Black Bear Syriannan, as once they are tamed, and the Black bear tame really easily, they hardely ever bite. Otherwise, watch and see how easily the pet store worker can feel the baby.
i feel bad for chestnut
