Can Mice Have Evaporated Milk?

okay, I have 24 mice. It all started with Moo (Female mouse)
and Butters (Male mouse)..Moo have her first litter, and had 5 boys and
5 girl mice, so that makes 10! Then yesterday night she have 12 babies.
The first litter of mice are like a month old now. They put away on their own now. Me and my dad were making pumpkin pie(yumm) and we used evaporated milk...To many of them. So we have a can left over and
we would hate to waist it. Should we give it to the mice, or perchance the dog?

Answers:    It is best to give evaporated milk to freshly born mice, as a subsitute to their mother's milk. But I wouldn't give it to any mice older than in the region of 3 weeks old.

You are going to have a mouse explosion pretty soon! But give the milk to the dog diluted or it will grasp the runs.
