Chinchilla? ?

Is it ok to let my chinchilla have a bath when ever he requirements cause i leave the bath out every time i permit him out and that's nearly every day
no, it takes absent too much of their natural fur oils
don't be so lazy! =)
A each day sand bath is good for chinchillas for keeping their fur in well brought-up condition, and just like humans it is used as relaxation chinny style!

My guys have access to one for 10/15 minutes a morning. If you leave it for longer than this, they may use it as a toilet and too much bathing can also cause the skin to become dry.

Answers:    Daily dust bath is not a problem.
The only source not to allow it would be if he has an injury that is break open and could be potentially infected, or if the weather is extremely dry (like winter in the midwest).

"Dusting" is also rather relaxing and relieves stress for chins.
if your talking about sand next sure!it's good for them...but remember to change it normally
water?you might drown the thing
bottom line...sand accurate water bad
My chinchillas have a tub everyday and they love it When my male was neutered and he couldn't own a bath for a week or so he missed it If you start noticing that they are getting dry, scaly skin around the ears and eyes it could be due to too much bathing so cut put a bet on to every other day and see if that helps. Apart from that in attendance is no reason why they shouldn't, so long as the sand if good power and fresh.
as long as the waters verbs i see no reason why not.
