Do rats know when to stop consumption or are they one of those animals that put away until they could possibly die?
I other free fed my rats. None of them ever overate. Make sure you keep their food fresh though. It's nice to proposition them some veggies and proteins. Some people are even suggesting bugs like meal worms and crickets.
