Guinea pigss. ! 10 points?
so i already have 2 guinea pigs,
katie and anna
and i was thinking about getting and naming her Stacey.
but im not nonetheless sure, i have alot of time on my hands and Anna is getting a bit feeble and might not have a lot of life disappeared in her, should i get Stacey or wait until Anna dies ??

If Katie and Anna have been used to each others company for a unquestionable length of time, then they may not accept a newcomer. I agree with others that whether Anna is perfectly healthy at the moment she may well enjoy a few years left. It would be unfair to put pressure on her by bringing a younger outsider in. Make the most of the time you own with Anna & allow things to progress naturally.
One or other guinea may go short notice & the fact they are used to each others company would possibly scrounging they would mourn for their mate & may follow soon after. Consider what you would do if the worst happened.
I personally would skulk & see to save any conflict between the group. Some animals just aren't destined to procure on.
Talking from experience i put 5 males together last year, a group of 3 & a pair of brothers. Fights broke out, injuries were sustained & above adjectives the heat got to 1. Unfortunately i lost 3 of them, which has made me revise a very valuable lesson.

i reckon u should procure it now so that when the other one dies u won't be too sad coz u still have two guinea pigs to be near u and u won't be too upset when u go to buy stacey if u buy it now coz. when anna dies u don't find reminded about her when u buy stacey. and katie still have a partner. and u don't hav to think going on for when to buy stacey when the time comes.
How old is Anna currently? If she doesn't have any illnesses or problems she should live to at least 4 or 5 years.
It is purely a personal choice whether you wish to get Stacey now or after Anna dies. I know that surrounded by the past I have always not here my guinea pig a week to morn over his cage mate's death. I don't like rushing things on them.

Stacey is a cute name and i think you should get one soon BEFORE anna dies, so when she does intervene away Katie has somebody to play with and be around. whether you have a big cage then jump for it.

Yep I agree you should draw from another now. The older girls will welcome a younger bub profusely easier than an older one later. When its time for one to leave you the other will already own made friends and will not be as lonely. I love the name Stacy.

I got two pigs together, sisters out of the same litter. They have been together all of their life. A few short months after getting them as babies, one developed a nippy heart beat, and eventually her heart couldn't handle it anymore and stopped, (Yes we took her to the vet), in the meantime we get their other cage mate all three lived in musical tones and we love bugs until the tragic day that Anabell died. Her litter sister went physco, she became spastic and started biting everyone and everything, she cried for her sister for weeks, and run around the cage looking for her.
The pain for her wasn't eased by the fixture to the cage, but she wasn't alone, we got two more eventually and now enjoy 4. It took her a good 4 months or so to get back to semi everyday, she's still a spaz...
I would get aqnother 1 now! Just build sure the cage is big enough!
You should wait until Anna dies.
When guinea pigs get older the adjust to here old life. Anna will not be used to another guinea pig. They also might fight.
i enjoy 5 guinea pigs. Trust me..wait till' Anna dies.
