Hamster assist! Please??
my hamster chews his cage bars all hours of darkness, he has all kinds of toys and things t do but adjectives he seems to do is chew the cage bars
ive hear its really bad for them but ive ran out of ideas presently!
he also keeps us awake because of it, eventhough hes in a different room!
please any advice? i near anythin i can put on the bars that tastes bad? (that is safe and sound for him obv) thanks! x

i have have lots of hamsters ok! So trust me your hamster is lacking of attention its chewing the bars because it wants to carry out of the cage and make sure it have like excuse Wheel something to that affect! don't put anything on the bars that is a big fleshy NO NO ..
Answers: that is a special hamster. i cant belive he doing that. maybe you should cover the bar he chews. like maybe put a cloth over those at the bottom, so he cant reach it. i dont chew over he is bored since he got all those toys but try finding some wood for him to chew on, it's good for his teeth and he would spend smaller amount time chewing his cage, he is silly
try putting nontoxic hair spray or that nail polish that tasle bad to stop u from biting nail. idf not working sorry no more
hamsters chew bars to trim their teeth. so, you can bring your hamster to a vet to have its teeth trimmed. you can also try buying dog biscuits, which they usually chew on and trims their teeth at equal time.
