Help! My hamster is on the loose...?
My hamster is loosing its hair so I think it is going to die soon. I saw the top of her cage fell down this morning so I assumed she run away. I own a cat and recently he knocked over my fish bowl and ate module of my fish. I am afraid this will happen to my hamster. How can I catch her?
we used to put like a ramp up to the bath with tiny bits of veg on them and the ramp be overlapping so it was like a seesaw so when the hammy got to the failure it owuld be dropped into the beth, but put lots of towels down
and be so careful with your cat, one of ours ran absent and my cat hit it around and we had to get its leg amputated!!

This is a tough one. When I lost my hamster we found it surrounded by my room and my mother cornered it. However, if you don't even know where he is that would be very concrete to do.
I'd try putting out snacks or something in a general area and consequently watch it as much as you can. If you haven't had in doors uncap in the room the hamster was in later don't and stay very still listening for any noise.
If your lucky your cat hasn't gotten to the hamster but and you can find her by hunting her down (not really).
That or you can go out and try buy a small humane trap and see if you can catch her beside that.
Oh, wow. This is tough to reply.First keep the cat in a room (closed door) so he/she can't find it. Look everywhere you can and you might want to tell your parents, moms and dads can back you look for it. I hope you find your hamster, good Luck!
that's hard one...cuz she might be contained by any part or u house...when my hmaster escaped i coulnt find her for about a week...i though she ran absent or something..then i though in getting another one when suddenly i found her under the sofa.i found her because i be moving things around to make the living room look bigger...so they can be pretty hard to catch...
Answers: You can try to build a trap for your hamster, but placement may be hard whether you have a cat. Try to find an open spot where your hamster could crawl within through, but your cat cannot.
For building a hamster trap, get a shoe box and put it upside down on the floor. Get a pencil or something else long enough and poke it through the edge of the lid. Stand the trap up upside down, no more sitting. Put your hamster's penchant foods or treats in the middle of the shoe box. Now, you wait.
If you have more time, you can tie a string to the pencil and hold it. If your hamster comes crawling by and starts to stuff its food into its pouch, verbs on the string!
My hamster ran away for 5 days, and we caught him in our sack of potatoes! He survived eating those, so also look where you keep other foods.
