Help next to hamster taming?
So I got Chandler on August 29th this year when he was around 2-3 months old. I followed adjectives the proper instructions with taming a hamster - leaving them alone for the first light of day or two, leaving your hand in the round up while they eat, etc. etc.
Unfortunately, although Chandler has absolutely no problem beside taking food off of my hand (he'll even climb on to get it but will rush fund off once he's gotten it), he refuses to let me pick him up. Even whether I try to sorta scoop him up with both hands, or move a treat in the palm of my hand, he just won't stay on. It's be like this since September.

He dosn't resembling what your doing with his food try putting it in front of him or handing it to him
first of all if you are not taking care of your hamster next it will probably be mad at you and then it will soon be untamed. so if you lug care of your hamster is the more important thing.ably also you can tame it by playing with( if it bites you then you will hold to let it rest first) it
Answers: Hamsters can be pretty quirky. Since Chandler isn't biting you, he's obviously comfortable with you but stubborn something like being picked up. The only way I can pick our hamster up in need losing blood is to open the bottom door of his habitat & wait for him to decide to come out.
Keep working next to Chandler (great name, btw). Try holding him a few inches over a box so he won't run off if he slips. Interact beside him several times a day when possible so he really gets used to being handle.
When you try to pick him/her try talking to it. And pick it up with both hands this time.

teach him whos boss! carry him even whether he don't want to be carried at least for a few times till he gets used to it.

Okay I've answered this type of grill alot so Idk if people are actually using this technique but here it is:
1. Put some towels within the bathtub.
2. Put hamster in the bathtub. (If you really can't pick him up later just leave his cage enlarge in the bathtub and when he comes out then pocket the cage away)
3. Get in the bathtub in need squishing him :(
4. Just sit in the bathtub, at first be quiet and consequently you can start talking to him quietly.
5. Let him crawl all over you close to on your pants and lay down and let him crawl on your shirt. Just let him smell you.
6. OH YEAH form sure to wear old clothes or something you don't mind getting peed or pooed on exact he might get nervous :)
7. You can feed him treats when he crawls on you too.
8. He might try to take out of the bathtub but don't worry he'll be fine just place him closer to you or on your pant.
9. Only do this for about 15-30 min. a day so that he can get used to you.
10. If you do this every sunshine for like a month he will love you! Hopefully! GOOD LUCK! Hope I Helped!!
