Is hamster food unhygienic to guinea pigs?

When I left home for school nowadays, my parents decided that it's okay to feed my guinea pig hamster food that has be stored in a freezer for months because it had worms in it since they're too inactive to go out and buy food. (and I can't buy it myself because I'm not old enough to obtain a job and my parents don't give me money)

To get to the point... is it alright? I'm certain he didn't eat much of it, but will he be okay?!
Yeah it's fine they're made up of the same stuff but it's not ok to feed any animal food that have had worms in it throw it out. Only feed ur animal food you would it whether u were that animal. I know I wouldn't want to eat food that had worms surrounded by it. GROSS!
Yes it is fine to make available your guinea pig hamster food because if you buy the same kind i buy it is ment for adjectives of your furry rodent friends!

but please dont give your guinea pig food with worms! something similar happend to me once when i opened a backpack of timmithy hay (a must for guinea pigs) i saw a dead crunchy huge bug! i through out the whole bag because whether i was a guinea pig i sure would not want to eat something that have a bug dried up in it
Answers:    No, it is not OK! First off, the protein content is different. Second, GP chow has vitamin C and hamster chow does not and finally, the reality that the feed has weevil or beetle larvae surrounded by means that it wasn't well stored to start with and thus probably doesn't have the nutrients in it that it started out with!
yes, guinea pigs requirement vit c inorder to survive, hamster food doesn't have the right nutrintes for gp's.and i know guinea pigs love eating bugs or worms for protein.but whether the bugs ain't storebought, and the hamster food is rotten, your cavy will get sick
Do not worry, adults enjoy to take responsibility! When reach legal age you'll own deal with it, I hope your parents set a good example!
Yes, it's ok to give him hamster food. They are in the same inherited (rodent category.) But with worms, that would make him sick!

Goooooood Luccccccck!
I do not recommend feeding it hamster food.

Feed it a little bit Guinea-friendly vegetables (such as dry carrot, broccoli, etc) until you can get it some food ASAP.

You should always have backup treats for when you unexpectedly run out of food.
If we be one and the same size (ok conceivably a tad bit smaller) than a hamster..?   Calling adjectives mouse breeders! :D?   To convince my dad to consent to me find 2 guinea pigs? HELP?   Can you potty train a dwarf hamster? (if you can how?)?
