Is it a suitable thought to own more than one hamster within like round up?
no, they are loner animals
not syrian hamsters. both sexes are EXTREMELY territorial and will fight to the death.

you can however keep a couple of the dwarf types together (dont mix the types though) - approaching roborovski's or russians

remember though, if you get a male and a womanly they will breed like theres no tomorrow :)
No, because they will fight till death so you could maybe gain a different type that is not a Teddy Bear and those kind of hamster.
As long as they are not syrian hamsters. They are extremely territorial. But a pair of dwarf hamsters can live together merrily.
Answers: If you are planning on get Syrians than no. Most hamsters are not very social and they will just be territorial. The with the sole purpose kind you can keep together (and actually be safe) are dwarf hamsters.
Hope I help!
PrettyKitty
not if in attendance syrian hamsters they will kill each other but i think most other species will live together
they are not very social animals...however two females would most likely work...depending on their personality...males would just fight...males and females would give you babies...so i would voice no unless you are going with a couple females...good luck!!
