Is it prohibited to enjoy rats surrounded by fixed bake?

A local Pet shop has rats mice birds kittens and puppys in what i would basically hail as a 'shed'. Mind you i live in Australia and its just starting summer so temps will reach round 38 celcius sometimes hotter and this is contained by the shade. Even the fish would be boiling in there tanks...its rather sad. When i went there the other year (hadnt for years just thought it might have changed) the poor rats were lay on their sides panting away, it made my heart melt, I just required to buy them all!! But i havnt got the space and they would just grasp more. So is there any laws against heat and animals? Thanks adjectives..
That is definitely what i would call animal cruelty! You should detail them or get there email address from there commerce card.

pet stores are all supposed to be equipt with central A/C otherwise it classifys as animal cruelty but thats how it is within canada i dont know much about the laws in austrailia whether you live near any government buildings they should be able to speak about you for sure
Why did my hamster die?
Answers:    I would assume it'd be considered animal neglect/cruelty. Rats are very sensitive to heat, and can easily die from boil stroke.

If they're going to sell animals, they could at least provide a healthy environment for them...
