Mouse and Dwarf Hamsters, war and getting a current one.?
I have two male mice now surrounded by about a one gallon cage.. Food, water and a joystick. Well, I got a new 10 gallon tank so would it be a well-mannered idea to get another boy mouse? I really would like a dalmation type mouse. I hear the more space they have the better they will get along. Also, I want to clean out that enclose and adopt a female dwarf hamster and put it in there. But I own no experience with them. Any tips?
lol your never suppose to put two hamsters in a cage because hamsters surrounded by general dont get along with respectively other unless its mating season.
generally you can't introduce new mice into an environment like that without them war, especially males
Answers: i think that a very right idea. I have four mice in a 40 gal long and they bring back along great. Well until two of them got pregnant XD but they still get along. Oh and hamster's are alike like mice a short time ago more fluffy and lovable lol. I'm not surprised your mice were fighting a 1 gal is small. They should at least enjoy a 10 gal. I wouldn't put your hamster in a 1 gal way to small. That 1 gal would be better for a fish. Hamsters and mice need plenty of space to run around whether you want them to get along. I wouldn't go with anything smaller quantity then a 10 gal for the mice and hamster. But for your hamster some nice bedding a wheel a house water and food should build it happy. And a good sized tank. Best of Luck =)
