My guinea pig act spazzy and jump contained by circles. Is she ok?
My little guinea pig is almost 4 months old. She is crazy. Some times for no reason at adjectives even when I'm sleeping I wake up to see her standing in one spot jumping contained by circles. Also when I let her out of her cage and she is running around she does this crazy twitch thing. Is this usual or does my guinea pig have a problem? I was thinking it could be just spirit because she's so young.
she may have muscle distrophy. talk to your vet asap
HAHA of corse this is 110% normal its called popcorning this means your guinea pigs are at ease! excited! overjoyed this is perfectly normal and no need to the creeps have fun i am also getting guinea pigs after Christmas so yea it normal no need to verbs.

Answers: What she is doing is known as pop-corning or "vertical fits" and is perfectly conventional. Most animals out grow it by the time they are 6 months old or so but some keep doing it for quite a while. It is purely youthful exuberance. We have a 3 1/2 month old who is nearly 2 lbs who is still doing it and who looks really foolish popping up and down at his size!
mine did the exact same thing, we asked the vet and he called it popcorning, she does it when shes happy, sometimes when i contribute mine treats shell jump and sqeak and go crazy or even for no reason, i assume yours is fine.
take her to peru...they know how to look after a tender guinea pig beside alot of spunk :)
SOMETIMES they do that because they are so lively and bundling with joy.
Yeah, I had two guinea pigs a while put money on and they both acted a little spastic. It could be that it's just her energy rank, or just scared. I wouldn't worry, of late make sure she has fresh marine and yummy food. =P
my friends g pig does this but they dont even look after therre pets
Maybe she's maturing and running around looking for a husband.
After a while every creature wants a mate or someone like them to play with.
