My hamsters are pregnant?
i came home from skwl 2 day and find 2 little pups contained by her cage...
i dint no she where pregnant and i dont hav a male so she did it surrounded by a pet shop
wat do i do??
Nothing, leave her to attain on with raising the babies and then when they are weaned rob them to the pet shop for rehoming, unless you want to keep them in which case you'll stipulation to sex them and seperate them as necessary when they are old enough.
OOOH this happened to a friend of mine- earlier long, like within a few weeks, he had dozens of hamsters! They start mate before they are even mature and you can not determine the sex, so separating them is impossible!
Contact the Pet shop and return all but one baby- whether that's all you want- Otherwise, you will be in the Hamster Adoption business!
Answers: take the hampster back to the pet shop and ask them why and what do you do.
DO NOT MOVE TOUCH OR EVEN BREATHE ON THE CAGE, HAMSTER, OR BABIES!!
please don't take the hamster back to the pet store either, at hand is no need for it.
for now:
just vacate the cage alone. don't touch it until the pups have fur on them, the mother will possibly eat them whether she feels that she needs to, is stressed, the nest is disturbed, the room the cage surrounded by is noisy and hectic and plus a bunch of other reasons.
just move out her and the cage and all pups alone. DO NOT TOUCH FOR ANY REASON!! she will take thoroughness of the pups and will do what is right for them. just give her a lot of additional food and make sure there is other water in the bottle for her.
once the pups are old adequate, they will need to be seperated completely unless they are dwarf. if so, they should be fine together.
make certain that they are different sexes. if not, they will multiply, just not as fast as the individual above said.

take adjectives the hamsters back to the pet shop:
the one who just gave birth to engender sure she isnt pregnant and the little ones to either give them to them or ask how to look after them :)
capably if you want to keep them then do that! and you can clutch care of them if you don't want them you can take them fund to the store and tell them the situation or you can sell them so your Friend or just administer them to someone?

probability are she was prego when you got her, don't touch the babies or the mother might kill them. you can bestow to sell them back to the pet store the mom should look after them well satisfactory, call your vet and ask if the mom will need anything special to munch through and see if they have any better ideas on what to do . well brought-up luck
