My masculine guinea pig billy died nowadays i am totally heart broken. he lived next to two others for 14 months.?
the 3 of them were so happy together i didnt think it would effect them as disappointingly as it has done to me as i thought they would just think he be moved but they keep crying and looking at his fave spot in the cage. how can i comfort them and myself to deal with our loss?
14 months isnt very long :( sorry to say but since your heart brocken i wont go on on!
a short time ago pay as much as atention to the others as much a possible!

I be heartbroken 2 when my other guinea pigs died but you manage to get over it because you no they cant live forever and you know that you give them a good home instead of them being given to a abuser!

Answers: I'm so sorry and don't say lone 14 months because obviously that was long enough to trademark it hurt when you lost him. As for you remaining pigs, I'd try and spend more time with them to try and comfort them. Also I don't know if you did each day health checks or not but in case you didn't know where on earth to start http://www.diddly-di.fsnet.co.uk/Regular... this will give you a guide of what you should be looking for daily with your other two.

the solitary thing i can tell you after breeding and owning 10 guinea pigs is that all you can really do is love them and later watch for any other sign of disease in the others
If i were in ur spot and i newly lost an animal i would buy another. not that the loved one could ever be replaced
