Question on guinea pigs at petco. 10 points?
i am getting a baby guinea pig tuesday, and i was wondering if i could see the ones they own in stock on the internet.

No. You cannot.
Sometimes they sell too fast to take a picture and post it on the internet. They of late don't have time to take pictures of the animals, post them and take them down when they are sold.
You can use their site to look for adoptable animals contained by pet shelters though. They have larger animals on the website, but not guinea pigs.

errrm.. you could try the website. There might be a picture of each of the guinea pigs, but I doubt it.
By the way, when you choose your guinea pig, don't go and get a fat one, because they are normally very ear-splitting and always want food. Get a small one, or medium sized one...

I do know that whether you're looking for a specific color or gender, they can get it for you within a couple weeks whether you ask. Otherwise, I would just go as often as you can and check out the different ones they own. They get new guinea pigs in every week nearly. I got my ferret from petco, and I waited a few weeks. When I saw her, I knew she be perfect :)

Answers: No you can't but maybe if you ring up before you go they can tell you what they look approaching. I would give that a try. Also you should get 2 guinea pigs not only one because they are hugely social animals and need to be with a cagemate or in a group. Unless you already own another guinea pig :)

No they don't. Have you considered adopting from a rescue?? They generally have young/baby ones, or know of a reputable breeder nearby where you can purchase one.
