What can I do near this rat I caught?

My husband and I caught a little rat that has been lifeless out on our patio for a few weeks. We caught her in a hav-a-hart trap and now hold her in a cage with food and marine. We are going to let her go, but I don't want her to just cease up in someone else's home or business, so how far should I thieve her away from houses and businesses?
i would leave her within a field with 10 acres or so

Put him/her up for adoption on
www.petfinder.com so it will have a cheerful home, instead of killing the thing. Would you resembling it if someone just killed you? Probably not. Anyways, you should really freshly give it to a home. First get a checkup for it. Clean it, and stuff. Take a few pictures. Or possibly you can even keep it!

Good Luck, do the right thing!
Further the Better right?
is it friendly most wild rodents are not. whether it is than it must of been a released pet or it has rabies and dosnt know that it should be scared of u. i would simply let it go somewhere in the woods or something cuz it could own diseases.
If she is pretty friendly she is likely a pet rat that have gotten out or dumped. Best for her is to keep her or take her to a rescue. If she isn't friendly, set her lose in a national park/ some parkland/ some where on earth that has shelter and water.

If you put her at most minuscule 5 miles from major businesses, she should be okay.

Do not listen to the paranoids on this list, or the cruel people.
take her to a park away from neighborhoods/businesses
Put him to a place where there is water, protection and grass. A little patch of forest may work.
letting it go is the best thing, it would live longer in its own environment. best place to permit it go would be in a rural area/ farm.
if it is a wild rat kill it because it might hold rabies if not bring to a shelter
awehh to be exact cute
take her somewhere by farms and forests!!
And then dance check if you got any diseases it is very adjectives!!
Do not take her to a shelter!! Go far into the woods and let her shift.
put the rat surrounded by the woods
take er to a close to by Park and she should be fine
Answers:    Please take her to a wildlife type park...a local suburban type park is likely to own dogs sniffing around and they will make short work of her

ratties natural diet includes lots of grass seed, so somewhere that will grasses grow would clear a good habitat for her

good luck :)
Drop him off in the woods somewhere, I guess.
kill it. it is the right thing to do, unless you want disease.
id a moment ago kill it
Take it far out into the woods and release it.
