What did my hamster own?
she was dragging her legs and limping and the poor thing :(
she was bleeding [nose]
fine when i woke her up during the year and when she was suppost to wake up usually she didn't..
bring to the doctors.
do not let it die :(
one common drive why pet hamsters die is, owners don't usually know that hamsters are rodents. rodents usually hunt at night, they are influential at night and usually sleep in the morning or daylight time. as for me, i didn't know this before so it took me 4 hamster lives to realize and learn how they live.
my hamsters died because of stress. we played with them during the daytime. this is the solitary cause because i remember giving them all their needs apart from rest during daytime. so if i were you, start preparing yourself for the death of the hamster. it may be dying immediately. or it died already. but if not, you can try to stop interacting with it and let it rest for couple of days (1-2 days). consequently play with it during night time.
i believe the "blood" from the bleeding is called poryphin, it is a discharge that comes out of the eyes and trunk. not sure
it could've died/dying of pneumonia. or stress.
Answers: I expect that, approaching most hamsters, yours loved to climb around in her cage and it sounds to me like she probably have a fall and injured herself while doing this.
Hamsters are robust little creatures and usually take their tumbles minus any problem, but she only needed to land funny or hit her head on something once to raison d`¨ētre a nasty injury. She may have broken a leg, which would have cause the limp and the nose bleed may have be the result of a knock to the head.
You mustn't blame yourself though. Hamsters have to be able to climb around and you can't keep under surveillance them every single minute of the day/night when they're in their cage. If my guess is correct, after it has been a very ill-fated accident.
She was probably in comparatively a lot of pain and discomfort and sometimes, sadly, the best piece is for them to die and be released from it. I am assuming that that is what has happened as the instrument your question is worded seems to indicate that she didn't survive.
