What do you contemplate of this moniker?
Hey guys I'm getting a chinchilla for Christmas and I want to name him Perry, after Perry the Platypus from Phineas and Ferb. My friend thinks it's okay as long as she can call him Agent P. What do you expect? And please don't say something mean!
You should name it what ever makes YOU HAPPY. Perry is cute.
I think it is your pet and you can term it what ever you would like. After you spend some time with it (a couple of days) and get to know it's nature you may decide Perry isn't the right name for it. What if it is a girl? I enjoy rats and one of them I named Grace which I then changed to Dora Grace because of Dora the explorer and that is precisely what she is then my mother in law started calling her Gracie she know all three names and will come to them all. Pretty cool to me.
