What whether my guinea pig have diarrhea?
I came home from school and saw my guinea pigs pen with some gooey,puddley brown stuff. Will this hurt me or the guinea pig?
i have seen this too with my guinea pig.
i one-sidedly think it is just the wateriness of their diet.
does your guinea pig only munch through the pellets and hay?
if so then it may be serious
but whether they eat the other food (food from the kitchen)
then it shouldn't be a problem

Yeah I guess it could hurt you but not more than it will hurt your guinea pig. The diarrhea usually means that you are feeding to plentiful veggies or fruits, cut the portions down and find some medicine drops for diarrhea at your local petstore. If the drops don't work then you should take the guinea pigs to the vet. Oh and you should seperate the guinea pigs whether only one has diarrhea so that way you don't win the 2 guinea pigs sick.
Answers: You need to keep a impressively close eye on your piggie. Diarrhea is very serious in a guinea pig and can be fatal.
If your piggie have been fed too many fresh veggies, this could be the motive & you should cut back until the poops firm up.
If your piggie appears sick, withdrawn, or even a little bit "off", you should seek vet attention right absent.

i think it is the food that makes guinea pigs do that and i think it smoothly goes away in a few days as long as it does not drink whatever it ate again cheak with a vet to be sure.
