Which pet rodents are most probable to bite?rodents?
and please put them in order from least to most 10pts given
GERBILS are the least likley to bite of all rodents (according to the 5 pet shops i have asked which i own bought a gerbil from each)
I'm throwing my vote in for guinea pigs, for what it's worth. They are not feasible to bite- very rare in reality. They have a sweet cuddly nature and are a rewarding rodent pet. I lubs my piggy! Sometimes they will nibble to try to sense what something is- resembling smelling something to identify it. Mine nibbles my fingernails, but he never bites out of meanness or fear.
I have owned a few feminine rats, and they were not biters either. This varies next to rats though- I found the males to be aggressive and they did bite, which is why I got girls. I got them young and handle them frequently. so they became very friendly.
the most credible rodents to bite are ALL HAMSTERS and mice.
least likely are rats guinea pigs ferrets bunnies chinchillas
FERRETS ARENT RODENTS THEY R PART OF THE MUSTELA FAMILY. BUT MOST PEOPLE CONSIDER THEM RODENTS WHEN CONSIDERING THEM FOR A PET.
Least-
(Robo and Chinese) Dwarf Hamsters,
Guinea pigs,
Degus,
Chinchillas,
Gerbils,
(Russian) Dwarf Hamsters,
Rats,
(Syrians) Hamsters.
That's what we sell where on earth I work, and this is how I'd class them.
(Ferrets aren't rodents. So shh saying ferrets!)

adjectives i know is that a hamster is more likely to bite you than a rat. a rat may bite you, but its usually if they can essence food on your hand or if your injured. hamsters usually bite you for no defence
Gerbil (they are very sweet), Mouse, Guinea Pig, Hamster, Ferret. I know that Ferrets are the meanest of the Rodent Family.
im sorry but all i know is that guinea pigs hardly EVER bite. so they make a really apt pet. http://www.guineapigcarer.piczo.com
In my experience (I've also listed unsocialized vs. socialized, as it make a huge difference):
Unsocialized:
guinea pigs and chinchillas as least
then mice and rats
then dwarf hamsters, robo, and Dj hamsters.
afterwards gerbils and syrian hamsters.
Socialized:
rats, guinea pigs, chinchillas, female mice.
male mice, dwarf, robo, and dj hamsters, and syrian hamsters.
gerbils.
Well, I know that ferrets can bite...
