Will an insect impair my hamster?
just saw one near the cage...
Depends what kind insect you discussion about,be more specific please
Well, ants, flies and the like no. But LADYBUGS! are toxic to hamsters, the stinky liquid they excrete can even be deadly. Hammuies eat mealworns, and moths, and even sometime dragonflies, so those aren't desperate, they are actually good!
Answers: It depends on what type of insect it is. If it is a fly, gnat, daddy longlegs etc, afterwards your hamster may eat it. In the wild they do eat insects where on earth available, for extra protein. Most insects are harmless to hamsters though.
No, your hamster might certainly eat it! Unless if it is very colorful! Then try to get hold of it out right away! Cause colorful bugs are poisonous
what kind of bug is it if it is an ant, fly, or ladybug than it is ok.
depends what it is, if its a bee, that could be bad whether it stings your hamster
Well.It depends what type.If its a ladybug, fly, ant, or something harmless, next no. But if its red ants, poisonous spiders, or something like that. Then probably.
