Will they be ok external ?
I have 2 rabbits who are both healthy one has a moment or two eye infection which is going quickly and they live in hutches in the garden, the weather forcast said its going to be minus 2 tonight whether i give them extra bedding will they be ok or should i bring them inside?
please help, 10points for best answer and a thumbs up for other answers
thankyou x :)
I'm not entirely sure because both of mine live indoors, but as long as they have each other, plenty of verbs dry bedding then they should be fine.
My brother used to have rabbits outside adjectives the time. We had holland lops and one velveteen with short hair. The velveteen, we have him inside all winter because of such short hair but the other ones, we had them external all winter but we had very economically insulated hutches and I wouldn't recommend them being outside without polite shelter. You might also need heated water bowls so they don't freeze up.
Answers: ive have 2 rabbits and a guinea pig in the past and they all lived external and were always fine, as long as they are warm. they are rabbits, theyre intended to live outside
Ya, my rabbits live outisde they love it, the fresh air fashion em happy. Make sure your fencing in on tight and right otherwise they'll return with out and thats not a pretty sight. O wait!! Minus 2 degrees? Take them inside to be not detrimental.
I would take them surrounded by. My guinea pigs come inside in the winter because they find it quite cold and if it is expected to be minus 2 i would definitely advise you to let them sleep contained by your house tonight where it will be warmer for them.
take them inside during winter.
